NCGR NORWAC Recap

The Results Are In! Big thanks to everyone who stopped by the NCGR table and filled out a survey at NORWAC! We were curious to see which Pluto generation showed up strong this year—and the numbers didn’t disappoint.

Pluto in Scorpio took the lead by a landslide, making up a whopping 47.7% of survey respondents. Not only does Scorpio rule the underworld, but it clearly rules the NORWAC crowd too. True to form, Pluto Scorpios are all about digging deep and shining a light on what’s hidden beneath the surface.

Second place was a close call, but Pluto in Virgo edged ahead with 23.1%. Detail-driven and precise, Virgo Plutos know how to spot patterns and make meaning from the minutiae.

Coming in next:

  • Pluto in Libra: 21.5% — seeking balance and beauty in transformation.
  • Pluto in Sagittarius: 4.6% — here for the truth, the journey, and the big picture.
  • Pluto in Leo: 3.1% — expressive, bold, and unafraid to lead through the fire of change.

Thanks again for participating—we loved connecting with all of you and learning more about the generational energies shaping today’s astrology community! Interested in participating in research? Join one of our SIRGs! It’s a special benefit of being an NCGR member.

NCGR Friday Night at NORWAC: Cosmic Connections, Laughter & Astro-Inspired Fun

We came. We mingled. We spun around and tried to pin Saturn on a chart! The NCGR Friday Night Party at NORWAC was nothing short of a cosmic celebration! Designed to bring community, conversation, and a whole lot of astrological play, each hour of the evening had its own theme and interactive activity. If you missed it — or just want to relive the magic — here’s a look back at the night that brought the stars down to Earth.

Elemental teams and big cosmic questions: The evening began with Mercury Hour, hosted by NCGR President Linda Kubota Byrd. We split into teams based on the element of our Mercury sign — fire, earth, air and water — and explored how each group thinks, speaks, and connects. Then came a big question that tied in perfectly with NCGR’s Dwarf Planet SIRG, our newest special interest research group: What could the newly discovered planet Leleākūhonua mean for astrology and the world? The answers were imaginative, insightful, and sparked ideas we’ll explore further with Alan Clay in upcoming SIRG discussions.

Asteroid Goddess Oracle Hour: Reflection and Connection: Next up was the beautifully soulful Asteroid Goddess Oracle Hour, led by our NCGR podcast host Debra Peredo. With inspiration and imagery from the book Asteroid Goddesses, by Demetra George, our Asteroid SIRG adviser, we dove into deep reflection and shared personal insights. It was a heartfelt hour of connection and intuitive storytelling.

Playing with Saturn: Spin, laugh and repeat. The night wrapped with a playful twist — the Playing with Saturn Hour, hosted by NCGR Social Media Director Maria Wander. The game? Pin the Saturn on NCGR’s Chart, just in time for Saturn’s impending ingress into Aries. There was spinning. There were minor lamp collisions. And there were major laughs. Shoutout to Allie from New York for nailing the closest hit!

Special Thanks to Curious Elixirs! We’re also incredibly grateful to Curious Elixirs for providing their delicious, nonalcoholic craft cocktails. Whether you’re a sober astrologer, sober curious, or just pacing yourself, Curious Elixirs kept everyone refreshed and toasting to a stellar night.
